Welcome to Misery Plains, formerly iMango! Started back in 2007, Misery Plains (or MP for short) has come a very long ways! Starting off as a strictly Wolf Fantasy-Based Roleplay, Misery Plains has grown to become more than that! Inviting all forms of Canines, and eventually all forms of animals! Here at Misery Plains, we supply Semi-Liturate Roleplay Forms with Large, Small and Mini-Plots alike! With no set level for roleplaying, it helps invite people to better their skills, and make friends in an easy-go atmosphere. The only requests is that users are REQUIRED to make roleplaying posts of at least 100 words, and follow the rules.
The days grow shorter, as nights come quickly, and mornings stay dark. Leaves litter the ground in marvelous colors, a sure steady sign of mating season is soon to come. The weather is a bitter wind enough to chill any wolf to the bone, sunny skies with whispy clouds about. Temperatures range from freezing in the early mornings, to high 40's mid-day, and back to below freezing during night. Large prey is usually found migrating towards the West, disappearing until long after Winter has passed. After they leave Misery Plains, food sources will become limited to small prey, winter dwelling animals, and winter fruit. Most birds have left by now.

` 11.05.2009:I'm Back! Yes, I took a few *cough*many*cough* days off because my dog broke her leg! Yes! Just a baby, and broke her little leg! So, I've been on a long nurse streak and now I'm back because she is better. :) As far as rules go, I forgot to allow something new. Members are alloted five characters for now. If members are leaving characters unroleplayed, then we WILL go back to two. If all goes well, we will have no character limit. Thanks!

Autumn. A time for feasting, gathering, and possibly moving. A time where wolves have no time to relax. Its all work, and no play for many. Now is the time to be sure there is enough food to satisfy their pack, because after Fall, all large prey will migrate West, and out of Misery Plains for the winter.
It is both encouraged and acceptable for wolves to attempt to gather new members for their pack, to make the numbers larger. Larger numbers means more wolves looking for food, and more time eating. Currently, Members of Misery Plains are encouraged to go look for new members by any means possible. You can do this by Advertising on other Proboards, Advertising on different websites (Wajas, Myspace, Subeta, et cetera), or telling your friends. When posting on other websites, please be sure to understand the rules. For example, Neopets will not allow you to advertise a web site on their site. In doing so, Neopets Staff WILL freeze your account, so please use caution when posting. Lastly, there is a contest going on as to who can advertise on the most sites!

The year is 2018. Roughly two hundred and seventy eight days ago Gotham City was struck by an earthquake that lasted a full twenty seconds and measured 7.6 on the Richter scale. Our city, as we knew it, was destroyed.
The government evacuated a good percentage of the population; those deemed worthy enough to save. The rest of us? The criminals, the lunatics, those of us who "are unfit to associate with the general population" were left behind to fend for ourselves; left behind to rot.
Gotham City is no longer a part of the United States. Goodwin Airport has been eradicated, our airspace restricted and declared a crisis zone. The bridges off of the island were demolished. The river was mined. We have been separated from the rest of the world.
Money means nothing to us, we survive with barter and trade. Electricity is scarce; and only provided via generators. Communication to the outside world is void. Supplies decrease daily, leaving us scavenging for food, warmth, and weapons.
Some of us have established territories through the city, and hold our ground. If you don't have your own territory, chances are you work for someone who does... and they take care of you. Turf wars are always in effect.
With no way for its remaining citizens to escape, and with no one that holds authority outside of Gotham willing to help out, we are truly only existing until someone puts us out of our misery.
Rats in cages. A dead end. Ground Zero.

WARRIORS: WILD CATS EXTREME
An intermediate role-play forum based on the Warriors saga by Erin Hunter.
The daylight hours are beginning to shorten dramatically and there is a definite bite to the chilled gusts of wind that sweep through all four of the Clan’s territories. Beautiful soft red, orange and yellow leaves line the shrubbery of the forest whilst the trees that shed them stand bare. More often than not the cold rain pours from the heavens, pounding the earth with all of it’s strength, turning dry dirt and dust to thick mud. The morning dew has been replaced by sparkling frost and breath rises as steam in front of the Warrior’s faces.
This time in past years, Leaf-fall would be just nearing it’s end, and yet all the signs show that Leafbare has already moved in. It is likely to be one of the harshest the Clans have ever faced.
Rivers freeze. Prey vanishes. Disease spreads.
Warriors die.
The Clans must do all they can to survive this bitter winter, no matter what the consequences..

Am I the villain who kills for no reason? The antihero, the misunderstood warrior who gets the job done, morals or no? The puppet master, who plays others like they were chess pieces? A killer of men, a silencer of secrets. An assassin who creeps in the dark?

“ And at the end of the world, everything was quiet. I find that strange. Perhaps that in itself is strange. Maybe I thought finally when it was all over we’d have a little breath to ourselves and get on with our lives. But the truth was, when we defeated all the enemies. When we had finally cast down every power hungry monster…what we were left with wasn’t a utopia….we were left with the wasteland. At first we thought things would get better, the wasteland was limited to the Lost continent. But, eventually things began to die in other places, more and more lands were consumed by the desert of the wasteland. Lakes, rivers, even the ocean began to dry up eventually. Civilisations began to die out. That’s when we all began to travel, the usual tales of a land of wonder and plenty that hadn’t been effected by what we were now calling the Solomon Blight. Final Fantasy: Journey’s End. Is the end of the road for those who fought through the world of ruin. To others. Its simply a beginning. The world of Journey’s End takes place in “World 26”. Behind the twenty sixth gateway. This world is totally new. Journey’s End is based in a world, were all the Final Fantasy worlds coexist, but as different continents on the same planet. And the confrontations, friendships, and alliances this would form. The current plotline on Journey’s end focuses on Galbadia’s move to get the secret behind mako energy, and the Jenova virus. Spira is still plagued by Sin. Shinra is planning a war that may drag the rest of the world in.
Everything changes here. The continental system means events that shaped the canon storyline of Final Fantasy never happened. Sephiroth and Zack never came to Niblehiem, so Sephiroth is still a soldier. And Zack still lives. Minor changes like this all effect the world as a whole. But what changes will you bring about? And how will they effect the world around us? This is the end of the road. This is Journey’s End.

At the heart of the army, the Galbadian sorceress and her knight, readying their forces for a direct attack on Midgar herself.

This is the land where wolves compete. Its all about the competition here. If you don't have something to compete for, you are nothing in these wolves eyes. However a long time ago the packs didn't care. They all lived their lives in peace, and didn't care about who was better then who. That didn't matter, Inturi was peaceful then. However it all started when two brothers got into a large fight. They both belonged to the pack called Ricarda. They were fighting to see who would become alpha, being that they were next in line. But their parents couldn't decide which one, so they set up the first competition. The fight raged on, all members of the pack were there watching intently. The fight seemed to go on for hours, this would be a fight to the death. And it would be the destruction of the so peaceful land of Inturi.
The battle had been won. By a wolf known as Rico. He was the strongest wolf in the land. Wolves of other packs, heard of the fight. They all liked the idea of holding competitions. And so Inturi began to fall apart. All the packs, who held such peace were now being held against each other. In the rage of competition. They all had their own competition to be held, and their own specialty. There was the Arlen pack, of the wise. Indira, of the looks. Thirza, the speed. And last but surely not least. Ricarda, the strength. The wolves hold competitions a lot now. New alpha's are taking their places among the packs, to carry on the tradition of the competitions.
However the loners of Inturi still believe that Inturi should be a peaceful place, as it once was. They think these competitions are ridiculous, and they will do what it takes to stop this nonsense. The fight to regain peace here in Inturi. But will it ever happen? Will you compete among the packs? Or be a rebel, and try and stop all of this? Inturi's future rests with you, with your decision.

Everyone knows that Beverly Hills, California is the place to be. This posh city is known for its beautiful beaches, luxurious homes and private schools. Some of the more fortunate residents may have the opportunity to live next door to their favorite movie star. Palm trees decorate the streets and snow is rarely seen here. Some of the more spoiled teenagers get Mercedes and Lamborghinis as birthday presents. The stores are stocked with name brands like Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. In a city where drama, sex and parties make up the highlights of your agenda, there's no denying that the Hills are heaven on earth and there's hardly ever a dull moment. Life here just couldn't get any better.

However, we do offer scholarships to those who express need or show exceptional talent. So you're probably waiting for the catch, right? Well I'd be lying if I said there wasn't one. Oh don't get me wrong, EPU really is what it's all cracked up to be. It's a small university with a beautiful campus and some of the finest arts programs around. But this university doesn't come without its share of scandals, wild parties and of course, the more stuck-up rich kids. But what the headmaster is trying to hide is that this school has worse things than cliques and rumors. In the fall of 2008, Eden Point went co-ed for the first time in its existence...probably one of the biggest mistakes EPU could make. The drama sky-rocketed, hormones raged, and the inexperienced university forgot to set rules to keep things under control. That's why Jessica Humboldt got raped and killed last spring on school grounds. Too much excitement, too little control. This year things are changing. EPU's tightening up and enforcing stricter rules. But who's to say it won't happen again?
